‘Parent Trap meets Derry Girls’, Truth Be Told is about honesty, forgiveness and the stories which don’t fit. Telling the story of two sixteen-year-old girls in Northern Ireland, Tara and Faith’s lives are very different, until they meet face-to-face and are shocked to discover they are almost identical. Are they connected? In searching for the truth of their own identities, the teenagers uncover more than they bargained for. Sometimes who you are is not what you expect.

‘Set in contemporary Northern Ireland, Divin’s second YA novel boasts all the power, humour and heartbreak of her Carnegie-shortlisted debut.’ - The Guardian

‘This polished novel makes space for the messy complexity of human existence, and gently offers, but does not preach, hope.’ - The Irish Times
