Booking online

You can have confidence that the online ticket-buying system is fully secure.

  • Please be aware that we are using a new ticketing system in 2018 and tickets will no longer be posted out.
  • Please take care when entering your email address at checkout as you will receive e-tickets to print at home or to show at the door of the event on a smartphone for scanning.
  • Alternatively, online customers can choose to collect tickets from the Festival Box Office, where we will print them out. If choosing the latter option please allow adequate time to collect your tickets and proceed to the event venue.


We accept Visa / Delta / Mastercard. Cheques should be made payable to Wigtown Festival Company. All bookings are subject to a £1.50 booking fee. Tickets cannot be exchanged nor money refunded. Where ticket demand is high for sold out events, we may offer a refund.

Events and seating

Events are an hour long useless otherwise specified in the event listing. All our seating is unreserved (seats do not have numbers).


Please arrive in good time for your event. Latecomers will not be admitted. Refunds will not be given to latecomers. If you are collecting your tickets from the Festival Box Office please allow adequate time to do this and then proceed to the venue.

Event cancellation

In the unlikely event that an event is cancelled, we will contact you on the phone number provided when booking, at the earliest time possible. A full refund will be given for any cancelled event.
