Shaun Bythell

A Bookseller’s Bookshelf

County Buildings
In person event

It would be wrong to say that there is never a dull day in a secondhand bookseller’s life. But some days are more interesting than others, revealing books that have their own stories, often quite separate apart from what lies within their covers. Shaun Bythell, Wigtown’s most self-confessedly curmudgeonly bookshop owner and author of the bestselling Diary of a Bookseller, shares with the audience the oddities that have crossed his path.
