Open Book groups write together in community settings across the length and breadth of Scotland from Ullapool to Eyemouth and from the islands off Shetland to several groups (including those in Scots and Gaelic) here in Galloway. Chaired by Open Book co-founder Claire Urquhart, join us to celebrate the publication of a pamphlet of work written during their sessions and hear the voices of community writers across Scotland.

Wigtown Book Festival Events

This year's programme is a combination of physical and digital events. Please ensure you book correctly. Digital events will stream through the homepage of with young adult events streaming through the YA page.

Unless otherwise stated, events will last between 45 minutes - 1 hour.
