Polly Clark’s fascination with tigers began in her teens, with a job at Edinburgh Zoo. To research her second novel, Tiger, she travelled to the forests of Siberia, learning to track Amur tigers at temperatures of -35°C. She talks about how her experiences influenced her thrilling new book, which asks how close a human can come to inhabiting the mind of another species. “Passionate, remarkable, uplifting,” The Guardian.
