Through the Lens is an intensive film-making course for young people aged 14-25 in Wigtownshire. Working alongside established filmmaker, photographer and visual artist Colin Tennant (https://wearectproductions.com), the young people accepted onto the course will learn digital filmmaking skills and have the opportunity to work closely with WFC to expand their portfolio.
The project will run from Sat 12 Feb – Wed 16th Feb 2022. The work created through this course and ongoing will be showcased on wigtownbookfestival.com and the Wigtown YA YouTube channel, giving young people a platform to showcase their work, develop their skillset, broaden their knowledge and enhance their employability.
