Tell us about your connection to Wigtown and the Book Festival
I make rustic products from local wood and I’m going to be exhibiting chopping boards, clocks and lots more in the Kist.

Sum up your festival experience in 5 words
I love Wigtown Book Festival!

What's your favourite festival memory?
The atmosphere in the Kist is amazing when lots of people all head into the marquee at the same time, having just listened to an author – there is so much chatter and excitement in the air.

Who would be your dream author to appear at the Festival?
If the Festival could time travel, it would have to be J R R Tolkien…..but in modern times I’d happily settle for Christopher Paolini.

Give our visitors one recommendation or top tip for Wigtown, the Festival or D&G
Bring some walking boots with you, buy an Ordnance Survey map and head for the Galloway Hills. Magical!
