Festival tickets on sale from July
AL Kennedy has many talents. She’s a Costa Prize-winning novelist, has performed stand up comedy on the Edinburgh Fringe, and is a fixture on BBC2’s late review. But she has another ambition: to write for Dr Who. In the final event of the festival’s Dark Skies strand, she talks to fellow fan Stuart Kelly about her passion for Cybermen, the lure of time travel, and why, for her, Tom Baker will always be the real Doctor.
