Willow is at home in the woods but not in herself. She is overwhelmed by a deep sense of loss and gnawing discontent. How will Willow make peace with the sadness that seeps into everything?

Come for a walk in the Far Forest. Pick a basket of berries. Sip from the singing stream; listen to the song most needed; weave a web of strength; stretch with the wildflowers and rest in the lull of bees. Take a deep breath and sigh.

Join Renita in Galloway House Gardens for Words in the Woods: a story, poem and song; a gentle walk and the opportunity to make one of her popular poetry pockets.

About the author: Renita Boyle is our Resident Storyteller; a picture book author and poet. She is a recent recipient of the Andy Hunter Bursary Award to foster well-being, connection and creativity in wild places.

Parking charges apply. Meet in the car park.
