In this weekend course taught by Celeste Noche, participants will discuss and practice the use of writing in conjunction with visual aids for a social media audience. With a focus on branding, each participant will workshop a personal or business project to create marketing content aimed to engage with their audiences. The course will explore a variety of social media outlets but will focus on Instagram and Facebook.

 

Please note that the fee does not include bed and board.

As an international food, travel, and wedding photographer, Celeste Noche's writing is notable for its personality and vulnerability, building a global network of genuine creative relationships. In the course of her career, Celeste has worked in over 25 countries, developing a knack for coupling her photography with inspirational and poignant words that resonate with her followers.

 
Her global and inclusive perspective has positioned her as an industry leader. Celeste's work has been featured in nationally recognized and independent publications alike, including Condé Nast Traveler, ELLE, The Huffington Post, and Misadventures Magazine.
 
Celeste graduated in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Classics from Stanford University and is based between Portland, Oregon and San Francisco, California. She's excited to be Wigtown's Artist in Residence.
