Mighty oaks from little acorns grow. And, in the past 12 years, Wigtown Book Festival has blossomed into one of the most vibrant literary events in Britain. A registered charity, the Festival showcases writers old and new and reaches more than 2,000 children a year. It also contributes to the economy and national profile of Dumfries and Galloway.

Your donation will go towards strengthening and developing the Festival - for example by expanding the children's and community programmes, as well as purchasing the technical equipment needed to run a rapidly growing event. It will not be used for salaries or core costs. Benefactors will be kept informed of progress by a regular newsletter.
