Children’s Festival

Join us for our biggest and best children’s programme yet, with more hands-on events than ever, including circus-skills and storytelling workshops.

This year’s programme features Hazel Allan, Philip Ardagh, Emma Barnes, Heather Bestel, Garrett Carr, Cathy Cassidy, Polly Dunbar, Anne Errington, Jan Fearnley, John-Paul Flintoff, Chrissie Gittins, Debi Gliori, Mairi Hedderwick, Ceci Jenkinson, Andrew Lane, Joan Lingard, Samantha Mackintosh, Glenn Murphy, Alison Murray, Sarah McIntyre, Gwen Millward, the Moomins and James Robertson.

There will also be puppet versions of The Three Little Pigs, The Tempest and Peter Pan from Allison Ouvry and the Pickle Players, and a special event by Ian Johnston, of the BBC science series Bang Goes the Theory.
